…What will you contribute?
We have a position available for a seasoned Sales Executive - Capital Markets & Treasury in our New York City (Midtown Manhattan) office. You will report to a Regional Sales Manager on the Sales & Solution Consulting team responsible for selling front-to-back, cross-asset trading solutions to banks, insurance companies and other financial services companies.
Achieve annual new account license revenue target.
Generate leads through cold-calling, networking and various other prospecting techniques.
Determine qualified leads through evaluation of prospect requirements and development of a concise understanding of prospects’ decision-making processes and criteria.
Development of relationships with decision-influencing, senior executives within prospect as well as client organizations.
Must proactively own the entire sales process and be able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Must be familiar with classic selling techniques and strategies.
7+ year’s successful track record in selling sophisticated financial applications to large, international financial institutions or equivalent experience in a financial institution working with leading technology financial applications.
Must be conversationally fluent within the domain of financial technology.
Comfortable with sales cycles that are typically six months to one year (or greater) in duration.
Within three months, ability to be self-sufficient in delivering first level presentations and propositions for Finastra solutions.
Comfortable with standard software license agreements, and the key issues associated with such.
Focus on qualitative selling.
Demonstrated excellence in writing clearly, accurately, concisely and in a manner that is customer focused.
Demonstrated presentation skills with impact.
Proven ability to manage sales with multiple decision makers.
Proven ability to manage internal resources to complete the sale.
Ability to travel up to 50+% of the time.
