The role reports into the Bucharest GD Sophis Team Lead.
The Job Description/Responsibilities
Work with customers to analyse, determine and document the technical requirements for the implementation of Finastra products and the integration with the other customer’s applications.
Be responsible for the implementation of the agreed scope of work from above.
Define and prepare the environments used by the Toolkit team when working on projects and when working on replication, analysis, correction of customer requests.
Your accountability will include preparation of VM & databases.
Technical requirements will cover domains such as : software architecture, users and data security, sizing for hardware and software performance according to business requirements, application operations model.
The Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Skills and Requirements:
Pro-active attitude and very good organizational skills: ability to manage urgent requests on the Team-IT side and to also progress with longer-term projects in the other areas
Working with an automation mindset ; making sure that steps and actions can be tracked, reproduced and that we can improve each process with written know-how and/or automatic scripting
Strong client focus and impeccable professional integrity; client facing experience; strong relationship management and communication skills
Good spoken and written English
University degree in Scientific field (Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Physics); a master degree in computer science or equivalent work experience is a plus
Database: structure definition, Stored Procedure/function/trigger programming (specific to oracle: PL/SQL) and automation. Performance analysis: indexes creation, tablespace sizes, queries performance, etc.
Scripting and Job Scheduler systems: Batch/Powershell including automation of tasks and definition of job scheduling and monitoring.
Infrastructure Monitoring: Usage of third party systems and windows tools to monitor different environments and produce reports and continuous improvement of the processes
MQ series & FIX messaging
Financial Systems is a plus. Being familiar with the concepts of financial data, instruments, trades, orders, limits, payment messages, confirmations, reports
