The Team

Finastra Global Delivery Centre (GD) is a part of Finastra Global Services Organization which offers consultancy and experience in working with Financial Institutions, Financial Services and Operations across the Globe. As part of the Global Services team we deliver Packaged Services for Finastra applications in a cost-effective & efficient manner to various financial institutions. The implementation carried out by the Consultants is executed in an Onsite/Offsite Implementation model where the teams execute tasks like Installation, Configuration, FED (Funded Extension Development), Data Migration and Upgrades. In this model not only the team performs tasks offsite, they also carry out Onsite tasks in parallel with the Regional PS team. GD works closely with the Regional PS team to combine solutions with technical expertise and product knowledge thereby ensuring that the deliverables are of high quality and meet the customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Parameterise and configure the software to deliver the agreed functionality as well as assist in the analysis, resolve/escalate issues encountered by the team during the implementation of the solutions and when interfacing to third party systems

  • Create test cases and test customizations developed by technical consultants, based on client requirements in the functional specifications

  • Execute regression testing between 2 different product versions (upgrade), analyzing and explaining the differences

  • Document problem resolution to make them available for future reference by other Consultants

  • Determine and document the customer’s business requirements (supported by a senior)

  • Provide reports and updates throughout the project life cycle to a project manager.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Pro-active attitude and very good organizational skills: ability to manage urgent requests on the Team technical side and to also progress with longer-term projects in the other areas

  • Strong client focus and impeccable professional integrity; client facing experience; strong relationship management and communication skills

  • Good spoken and written English

  • Team player, quick learner

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in areas related to Finance, Computer Science, Financial Mathematics or other subjects that build a good basis for working with software solutions in Finance and Risk Management

  • Financial product knowledge is a plus (especially on Sophis \ FusionInvest)
