Responsibilities & Deliverables:

The Finastra ‘Inside Sales & Talent Academy Team’ is an Industry leading programme that is responsible for nurturing and developing high potential talent into our future Finastra customer facing superstars.

The Regional Inside Sales & Talent Academy Director is responsible for directly managing the Talent Academy programme in conjunction with the strategy and governance of the Demand Generation function through achieving the pipeline generation goal. In addition the Director will be expected to ensure that the Academy team are following the development programme at the required pace and career development plans are put in place for each rep at the appropriate times.

In reference to the Academy the Director will be expected to closely manage and govern the Demo Initiative and Account Management elements of the programme in addition to creating a clear ‘structured and handover’ when Academy reps are promoted into their next role at Finastra.

As an integral leader at Finastra the Director will be expected to work with the sales organisation and the wider ecosystem such as Marketing, partner and sales training teams etc. and develop clear communication cadences to ensure the Inside Sales and Talent Academy Function are firmly integrated with the relevant regions.

As an experienced Inside Sales Director your key deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Have experience managing junior managers with the ability to coach and develop.

  • Develop a performance management culture and governance model for demand generation to ensure targets are consistently hit.

  • Execute against a regional qualified GTM Pipeline target by ensuring successful execution and ongoing management of marketing and sales led campaigns.

  • Ensure inside Sales Reps are supported in hitting their goals and continually growing at Finastra through mentoring, coaching and performance management.

  • Manage the Regional Inside Sales brand by providing transparency through clear and consistent communication to all key stakeholders.

  • Ensure hiring goals are met and resource coverage is managed effectively through forward planning.

  • Deliver consistent communication and reporting on the regional Inside Sales team to the ‘Global Head of Inside Sales’ inclusive of team performance, risk and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree standard

  • 5-7 years’ people management experience in an inside sales environment

  • Experience as a sales representative ‘closing deals’

  • Experience of managing sales and marketing led campaigns through SFDC

  • Software or Financial Services experience desired but not necessary

  • Experience of managing junior managers is ideal but not critical
